The great outdoors is the natural habitat for a Scout or Girl Guide so Earleywood is the perfect location for children and young people to experience this. So whether its Beavers completing the Outdoor Challenge or Explorers undertaking the Scouting Skills Activity Badge, Earleywood provides an ideal venue for them to do this. The woodland location of the site provides opportunity for groups to experience camping and activities such as bivouacking and backwoods cooking.
Earleywood is an ideal place for you to bring the classroom outside. In Scouting, our aim is simple – to help the individual achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and economic potential. Young people develop most when they are 'learning by doing’, when they are given responsibility, work in teams, take acceptable risks and think for themselves.
We are in South Ascot, Berkshire within easy reach of London and all the exciting big city attractions that this famous capital city has to offer. Locally we also have great attractions nearby - Legoland, Windsor Castle, Thorpe Park, Ski Slope, Go Ape.
Our site is very secluded and safe, it feels like you are in a Woodland Wilderness. Scouts and Guides of all ages love the opportunity to have a traditional backwoods camp with wood fires. We have a superb Climbing Tower with bouldering wall on site and an Indoor Rifle range.
